A New Storytelling Offering in Asheville, NC 
Wednesday Mornings 10am-12pm 
January & February 2018

It’s winter and Connie is excited to offer a new learning opportunity to warm-up your storytelling voice and creativity!  Join her in Asheville, NC at Lenoir-Rhyne University for six story-work sessions with a weekly format
that allows for skills to grow over time while encouraging a consistency in discovering, revisiting and refining your stories.

During these weekly sessions participants are invited to:

  • Draw on memories & traditional stories in developing and growing your stories
  • Work with partners and in small groups to illuminate new viewpoints
  • Expand practice of deep listening and appreciative feedback
  • Increase confidence in giving voice to your stories
  • Cultivate your skills and delight in telling stories

All are welcome: Connie’s current and former students as well as newcomers.

As a teacher, Connie Regan-Blake creates a fun, welcoming environment while guiding her students to new heights of creativity, exploration and learning.  Her teachings can be useful in your professional life in the business world, with family and friends around the supper table or in a performance setting on stage.  These storytelling sessions can benefit writers, teachers, sales professionals, poets, grandparents, storytellers, youth workers, ministers, students, attorneys, presenters, & all those curious.

$265 for all 6 sessions, January & February, 2018
“Bring a Friend” discount (Bring a friend who has not studied with Connie and both receive a 10% discount)
In gratitude for classroom space, Lenoir Rhyne Students receive a 20% discount

Early enrollment encouraged, space is limited (minimum 10 participants)

WHAT: Six weekly story & telling sessions, two hours each with Connie Regan-Blake

WHEN: Wednesday mornings 10am-12pm January 24 through February 28, 2018.  Make-up sessions for inclement weather scheduled if needed in March.

WHERE: Asheville, North Carolina, in the beautiful Southern Appalachian Mountains at Lenoir-Rhyne University Center for Graduate Studies of Asheville, 36 Montford Avenue 28801 (third floor of the Asheville Visitors Center, see note below).

LODGING: Many motel, hotel, airbnb and B&B options are available nearby – for info, Explore Asheville.
