Connie Regan Blake Storytelling

with famed storyteller Connie Regan-Blake

Listeners will enjoy a laugh-out-loud and remarkable storytelling journey from a cliff in New Zealand to “Dorky Spandex vs. Macho Leather” on the Blue Ridge Parkway to the sparkling “Well at the End of the World.”

Connie Regan-Blake is delighted to return to Amelia Island after a grand time as one of the featured storytellers at the Amelia Island Festival of Stories & Songs. She has been on the cutting edge since the beginnings of main-stage storytelling in the early 1970’s.  Connie was one of the very first to make her living as a fulltime, professional traveling storyteller.  The Library of Congress in Washington DC has recognized her rich history and continuing influence and it now houses her memorabilia in the exclusive ‘Connie Regan-Blake’ collection.

She  is a regular at the National Storytelling Festival for the last 5 decades – and her storytelling has taken her across the US and to 6 continents . . . so far!

She toured and told folktales with a famed Classical Chamber music trio and she co-created and starred in Asheville, NC’s longest-running theatrical production.  Connie draws delight from teaching storytelling workshops and coaching one-one-on.

And yes, she continues to share her stories in performance.

Come join us on Tuesday, May 6 at 3:00 pm at Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture for Tales of Adventure!
