It’s winter and Connie Regan-Blake is excited to offer a new learning opportunity to warm-up your storytelling voice and creativity!  Join her in Asheville at Lenoir-Rhyne University (36 Montford Ave) on Wednesday mornings 10:00 am – 12:00pm for six story-work sessions.  This weekly format allows for your confidence and skills to grow over time while encouraging a consistency in discovering, revisiting and refining your stories.

The weekly sessions run from January 24 – February 28, 2018 and can benefit many, including writers, teachers, sales professionals, poets, grandparents, storytellers, youth workers, ministers, students, attorneys, presenters, & all those curious!  Please join us on Wednesday mornings as we create an encouraging, playful and appreciative community in celebration of stories and creativity.  And if you know of others who might enjoy and benefit from the classes, your help in spreading the word is always appreciated – plus you can receive a 10% discount if you bring a friend!  To register and check out all the details, visit the workshop page.

The focus of this “Taking Your Story to the Stage” 3-day workshop is on storytelling performance. Each participant is asked to come with a story that is almost “stage-ready.” Set in Connie’s home tucked in the beautiful mountains surrounding Asheville, NC, this workshop provides a supportive, affirming atmosphere to nurture storytellers’ performance skills and confidence.

“Taking Your Story to the Stage” is open only to those who have previously studied with Connie. If you have not had this opportunity and/or Connie has not heard you tell a story, a private coaching session may be required. More information can be found on here.

Join nationally celebrated storyteller, Connie Regan-Blake, as she hosts her workshop participants in an enchanting evening of storytelling in “A Slice of Life: An Evening of Stories.” The event will be hosted by the Black Mountain Center for the Arts, just a short drive from Asheville nestled in the picturesque mountains surrounding the area.

Connie’s three-day workshop, “Taking Your Story to the Stage“, emphasizes storytelling performance and taking the step up onto the stage. As part of this workshop, her participants have the opportunity to exercise these new skills in a formal performance setting. Thus, “A Slice of Life” brings together several unique tellers’ voices to create a delightful storytelling experience.
